Dynamic Capabilities in an Uncertain World

California Management Review released a video on dynamic capabilities in conjunction with publication of an article by Paul J.H. Schoemaker, Sohvi Heaton, and David Teece, "Innovation, Dynamic Capabilities, and Leadership," in which the authors write about the volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) business environment, new product and process developments, and business model innovation.

Dynamic capabilities is a concept that pushes companies to integrate, build, and reconfigure internal competences to address radical shifts and changing environments.
